Website redesign for small businesses

Your site looks like 2012. Your customers notice.

We go through your site the way a visitor does, then build a demo of a new design using your own texts and your own logo. You look at it for free, and only then decide anything.

Looking at the demo is free and commits you to nothing.

What visitors see

An outdated site does not look old, it looks abandoned

These are the things we usually find on sites built ten or more years ago. Each one sends part of your visitors away before they ever learn what you do.

No mobile version

Most visits come from phones. If people have to zoom in and drag the page sideways, they give up within seconds.

No HTTPS

Without a certificate the browser puts a "Not secure" warning next to your address. That is the first thing anyone reads.

Broken pages

Empty categories, links to pages that no longer exist, errors from abandoned plugins. It reads as a company that closed down.

Contacts as an image

A phone number baked into a picture cannot be copied or tapped to call, and search engines cannot read it either.

No enquiry form

If the only way to reach you is to retype a phone number, you lose everyone who just wanted to ask a question.

Slow pages

Multi-megabyte photos and an old theme mean the page takes far too long to open on mobile data.

How we work

Three steps, and we carry the risk

No deposit, and no access to your site needed to get started.

1

We look at your site

We go through it on a desktop and on a phone and write down what actually fails: which pages are empty, where HTTPS is missing, what breaks on a small screen.

2

We build a demo

A new design on your existing texts, your logo and your colours, at the same page addresses. You get a link and see what your site could look like.

3

You decide

Take the demo as it is for 50 €: we hand over the files without the DEMO label, forms still need to be connected and content is edited in code. Or hire us to put it live on your site.

What stays the same

A redesign should change the looks, not the site

Redesigns go wrong when they throw away whatever Google already knows you for. So we work like this:

  • The same textsYour product and service descriptions move over word for word. We only write new lines for section headings and buttons, and we send those for approval first.
  • The same page addressesEvery page keeps its URL. Old links, printed cards and social posts still land where they used to.
  • The same titles and descriptionsPage titles and meta descriptions carry over unchanged, so your Google results keep saying what they said before.
  • Your logo and your coloursWe pick the brand colour off your logo. We do not propose a new identity unless you ask for one.

The point is that visitors still recognise your company, on a site that actually works.

FAQ

What people ask us most

Do I have to pay anything for the demo?

Not upfront. No deposit and no login details to your site: you look at the demo for free. You pay only if you want the files (50 €) or want us to put it live on your site. The demo covers sites of up to about 50 pages; for larger sites it covers the key pages. When you send us your address, we look at the site first and tell you honestly whether a redesign makes sense.

What if I do not like it?

You tell us and that is the end of it. No contract, no notice period. If you like the idea but not the details, say what bothers you and we will revise the demo once.

Who owns the files?

You do. We hand over the demo files without the DEMO label and any developer can put them online. It is a static version: forms need to be connected and content is edited in code. We do not lock you into a platform and we do not charge a monthly fee for the site itself.

What happens to my domain and hosting?

They stay yours and stay with your current provider. We work on the site, we do not take over the domain. If the hosting cannot do HTTPS or is too slow, we will tell you and suggest what to change.

How long does it take?

The demo arrives within 7 to 10 days. Putting a new theme into an existing WordPress takes 14 to 21 days, and a full new site with content migration at least 21 days, depending on scope. These timelines include time for your feedback.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

That is exactly why the texts, page addresses, titles and meta descriptions carry over unchanged. To Google this is a change of appearance, not a new site. After the move we watch Search Console and fix anything that comes up.
